Shannon Harvey, Esq., a Pennsylvania native, is the principal attorney of the Miami-based Law Offices of Shannon Harvey, P.A., established in 2007. Ms. Harvey is licensed in New York and Florida. She practices probate, guardianship, intellectual property, entertainment law, and contract litigation. She serves as a distinguished panelist on various programs for the American Bar Association.

Ms. Harvey’s office has had the honor of serving as Private Counsel for the United States Department of Justice, 2011-2014, representing the U.S. as Plaintiff in a large volume of breach of contract lawsuits. Prior to opening her own law practice in 2007, Shannon held the position of In-House Counsel to a large nursing home management company. This now enables Shannon to provide skillful and compassionate legal services to families facing probate, guardianship, and other difficult life changes. She volunteers her time with Vitas Hospice care, providing weekly support visits to the terminally-ill.

Shannon has since brought her experience into the entertainment law arena with matters ranging from copyright infringement and trademark registration to film investment disputes, defamation, and publicity rights. Her role as legal counsel enabled the first annual "Hollywood Florida Film Festival" to be established this year.

“Legal Fox™ TV,” the provocative, popular, and unconventional new video series providing entertaining commentary on lawsuits of interest, was created by Shannon Harvey, Esq. with the vital assistance of her producer / director. Shannon is also the principal talent and writer of the episodes which were selected for screening in several Web Fests. The unique YouTube series - highlighting the “Lighter side of Law” - is credited on IMDb.

Ms. Harvey earned her Bachelor’s degree from Temple University with Magna Cum Laude honors and her Juris Doctorate in 2002 from University of Miami School of Law with Cum Laude honors.
